As Commercial & Industrial Contractors, B J Electrical hold health and safety at the forefront of every job we undertake. The Health, Safety and Welfare of our employees and other stakeholders who may be affected by its undertaking, are paramount to all work we engage in.
We are fully committed to and compliant with all legal duties and guidelines, as endorsed by the Managing Director, in the Company's Health and Safety Policy Statement.
We use an independent body who advises the company on all health and safety matters. Our external HS consultant monitors all health and safety on site and ensures staff are updated with and adhere to all applicable government regulations and guidelines.
A regular review of the policy, and any subsequent revisions, is carried out by our external Health and Safety adviser within a period not exceeding 12 months, ensuring its implementation is updated and communicated effectively.
Staff hold current ECS cards as a minimum requirement, as well as being accredited in industry schemes such as PASMA, IPAF, asbestos awareness, emergency first aid and others.
The Company takes a pro-active approach to Health & Safety as detailed in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, committing resources and providing access to appropriate information, instruction and training.
